The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Office of Mental Health (BHDD OMH), formerly the Department of Mental Health, serves as the state’s public mental health provider.
 

About Our Headquarters 

As of June 2025, BHDD OMH headquarters are co-located at the State of South Carolina Health Campus with the South Carolina Department of Public Health, allowing for closer collaboration between the two cabinet agencies. The state’s health campus is located at 400 Otarre Parkway in Cayce.
 

Services Are Not Affected by the Relocation.

BHDD OMH does not provide direct services at the State of South Carolina Health Campus.
