Description
This law enforcement training will focus on strengthening courtroom testimony, communication, and roadside interviewing skills. Participants will explore adult learning styles, review key concepts of direct and cross-examination, and learn to recognize common defense tactics. The training will also cover effective roadside interviewing techniques to support informed arrest decisions and strategies for reestablishing rapport after an arrest to facilitate communication and voluntary toxicology sample collection.

4 hours (This training has been submitted for approval by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Participants must attend the entire training to receive a certificate.)
