Orangeburg Area Mental Health Center (OAMHC) provides outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in Bamberg, Calhoun and Orangeburg counties. Its mission is to support the recovery and aid in improving the quality of life of citizens who are experiencing mental illness or emotional disturbances.

Our center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF), an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of those served.
