•    Overview of US Supreme Court cases setting constitutional standards for commitment of people with disabilities.
•    Review of the statutes and procedures for commitment under SC law.
•    Discussion of categories of disabilities, SC service divisions, and legal limits for commitment.
•    Tips for proper practice before SC Probate Courts (issues identified by the SC Probate Judges Association).
