BHDD is a healthcare organization dedicated to providing quality mental health services to residents of South Carolina. Mental health services comprise:
- 16 community-based outpatient mental health centers
- Community-based clinics, which serve all 46 counties in South Carolina
- 3 licensed hospitals, 1 for substance use disorder treatment
- A community nursing home

BHDD Mental Health Programs
BHDD offers a number of specialty mental health programs that enhance and expand upon our evidence-based outpatient counseling services and intensive inpatient treatment. These programs often represent one-of-a-kind offerings in South Carolina and are designed to improve access to care and to offer more robust levels of treatment, which have helped make BHDD a leader in mental health across the state and beyond.
