The Admissions and Discharge Department is open for patient screening between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on weekends and holidays. All HPH admissions are on a nonvoluntary basis.
This department handles the admissions and discharges of all patients at HPH. If you have questions regarding either process, please call 864-231-2600, Ext. 4.

The Legal Processing Department is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends and holidays.
The purpose of this department is to assist patients with the hearing process, whether it be when they are admitted or through the re-examination process. This department also serves as a liaison between HPH and the various probate courts throughout the State of South Carolina. If you are calling from a probate court, have questions regarding the court process or are an attorney representing a patient or the patient’s family, please call 864-231-2600, Ext. 8.
The Medical Records Department is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends and holidays. If you have questions about the process for requesting medical records, please call 864-231-2600, Ext. 6.
