Who Should Attend

Individuals seeking a six-hour prevention ethics training for certification purposes

Description

This one-and-a-half-day workshop addresses the role and application of ethics in substance abuse prevention. Using cases and interactive activities, participants will explore the six standards in the Prevention Code of Ethics and learn to use a four-step decision-making process to assess, address, and evaluate a range of ethical issues.

Note: This training meets the requirements of the SCAPPA Certification Commission for individuals seeking a six-hour prevention ethics training for certification purposes.

Credit

8.75 hours (Participants must be present during the entire training to receive a certificate.)
